KANNUR: Those who have completed the Kerala Government Certificate Engineering (KGCE) courses will be eligible for reservation in admission to diploma courses. At a press meet on Monday, members of the Kannur-Kasaragod Technical Institute Association said that the quota now being enjoyed by ITI students had been extended to KGCE students. The government had also issued an order, making the KGCE equivalent to VHSE/NCVT/NTC/ITI, offering apprenticeship to all candidates who completed the course and paying stipend and fees to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates.
