Housing beneficiaries stage dharna

VIZIANAGARAM: ‘Indiramma’ beneficiaries, affiliated to Vizianagaram Pattana Pedala Samskeshama Sangham, on Tuesday staged a dharna at the Municipal Office seeking electricity, streetlights, drinking water, drains and roads in Sudaraiah and Mutcheruvu gattu colonies. The sangham president M. Durga Rao and secretary Reddy Sankara Rao said that houses for the poor under Indiramma programme were built a year ago but facilities were not provided till date.
