Elocution contest

Shriram Ilakkiya Kazhagam, the literary wing of Shriram Group, will organise a State-level Thirukkural Elocution Contest 2009 for school and college students of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in July and August.

The preliminary round will be held on August 9 at the Bishop Heber Higher Secondary School in the city. Each institution can send only two entries from each class under each category.The final is on August 29 at Chennai. Cash awards will be given to the winners. Participants could collect the application forms from Shriram Chits, 21 Sri Complex, II Floor, Madurai Road, Tiruchi. The last date is July 13.
