Traffic curbs today

NEW DELHI: The traffic police have advised motorists to avoid certain roads in North Delhi and Central Delhi on Wednesday in view of the annual “Rath Yatra” of Lord Jagannath and Badrinath.

The procession will start from Jagannath Badrinath Temple in Darya Ganj around 2 p.m. and pass through Subhas Marg, Esplanade Road, Dariba Kalan, Chandni Chowk, Ghanta Ghar, Nai Sarak, Chawri Bazar, Hauz Qazi, Ajmeri Gate, Lahori Gate and Khari Baoli. The procession will culminate at Gauri Shankar Temple in Darya Ganj around midnight.

Traffic will be diverted at the following points: Darya Ganj, Subhas Marg, Asaf Ali Road, Chandni Chowk, Ajmeri Gate and Desh Bandu Gupta Road.
