Jewellery stolen

KRISHNAGIRI: Jewellery worth around 25 sovereigns and Rs. 10,000 cash was stolen from a house in Tamil Nadu Housing Board Colony on Royakottai Road in Krishnagiri on Monday.

According to police, R. S. Rajan, a retired government employee, and his family members were away to Erode to attend a marriage when the incident took place. When he returned back he found the locks of the door broke open. A case has been registered in this connection.
