DHL launches aircraft-on-ground service

BANGALORE: DHL, a company that specialises in logistics, has announced the first aircraft-on-ground service. The specialised service targeted at aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service providers to reduce the time aircraft are idle undergoing repairs. The service will be available in 135 networked cities worldwide and in Indian cities — Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai — according to a company release. — Special Correspondent
