FIR against Aparna Sen

LALGARH (Paschim Medinipur District): A first information report was filed by police on Wednesday at the Lalgarh thana against film personality Aparna Sen and seven other persons for violating Section 144 of the Cr. PC. when they went to meet Police Santrash Birodhi Janasadharaner Committee (PSBJC) convener Chhatradhar Mahato last Sunday.

Prohibitory orders under Section 144 Cr. PC. were imposed in seven adjacent blocks. The move came in the wake of the ransacking and torching of the house of a prominent Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader on June 15.
