Four companies take part in HMDA bids

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: Four construction companies have evinced interest in the development of the massive residential complex proposed by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) at Miyapur.

The HMDA has called for expression of interest-cum-request for qualification for the project to be spread over a site of around 105 acres near Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and located about 10 kms from the Hi-Tec City.

The companies who took part in the bids, which were opened on Tuesday, were Aditya Constructions, SBPL Infrastructure, Sapphire and Sri Krishna Joint Ventures and Sunil Mantri Realty.

According to the officials, these were technical bids and after evaluation, financial bids would be called for in the coming days. The project has been proposed on joint model basis under Public Private Partnership mode and apart from residential facilities unfolding on the vast acreages would also accommodate commercial and recreational activities.
