Techie ends life
Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD: Reportedly depressed over failure in getting a job, having lost one three months ago, a software professional from Solapur of Maharashtra ended his life by hanging himself here at Kachiguda on Tuesday night.
Twenty-nine-year-old Sachin B. Kandekar used to live with his maternal aunt at Rajendranagar Colony. He had been staying alone in the house for the past one month as his aunt had gone to Solapur.
A suicide note purportedly written by Kandekar stated that he was ending his life between 11.45 p.m. and midnight and that none was responsible for his death. “Don’t harass my parents,” he stated in the note. Kandekar’s father, Balachandra Kandekar, told the police that his son was disheartened after losing his job. He tried to secure another job and the failure apparently added to his mental agony, he felt.
Kandekar’s younger brother is a doctor and lives in Mumbai. His younger sister is pursuing engineering course at Solapur.
