Pokhriyal to replace Khanduri

NEW DELHI: Uttarakhand Health Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will be the new Chief Minister, replacing B.C. Khanduri, who is expected to hand in his resignation to Governor B.L. Joshi on Thursday.

The Bharatiya Janata Party State legislature wing met here at the party’s central office on Wednesday and Mr. Pokhriyal was elected unanimously.
