Two MCD officials suspended
NEW DELHI: Municipal Commissioner K. S. Mehra on Thursday ordered suspension of assistant sanitary inspector Sanjay Maggo and licensing inspector Suresh Yadav on charges of dereliction of duty.
During an inspection of Sadar Paharganj Zone, the Municipal Commissioner noticed that the community toilet complex was in a pathetic condition. “It is a matter of serious concern that despite my repeated instructions for maintaining proper sanitary conditions in the city, including proper maintenance and functioning of community toilet complexes, no action appears to have been taken at the ground level,” he said.
