Students of MES Kishora Kendra Public School, Vidyaranyapura, exercising their right to vote. BANGALORE: National Public School, Koramangala, celebrated its Founder’s Day recently. The event marked the completion of six years of its existence. In her welcome address, Vice-Principal Sudha Balan said that the school has achieved excellence in both curricular and co-curricular fields under the guidance of the management. K.R. Gopalkrishna, chairman of NPS Group, in his message, urged the teaching faculty to hone their skills and uplift themselves as thorough professionals. The celebrations culminated with a cultural show put up by the teachers. ElectionsMES Kishora Kendra Public School, Vidyaranyapura, recently held elections for the students’ council. The aim was to create awareness among students about their democratic rights. Students from classes six to nine exercised their franchise to elect leaders of their choice. InvestitureSri Vani Education Centre School, Magadi Road, held its investiture ceremony recently. Earlier, the school parliamentary elections were held. The candidates were given the opportunity to address the students and teachers. At the ceremony, the newly-elected leaders promised to work to the best of their ability. FelicitationAt a function held recently, Jubilee School, Dooravaninagar, felicitated its students, who had brought laurels to the institution in the SSLC examination. Meghana S., Rakesh G.R., Sathya P. and Madhushree K.J., the toppers of the school, along with subject toppers, received mementoes from the school management. Environment DayOn World Environment Day, students of Oxford English Medium School, Nagarabhavi, planted saplings on their campus. Headmistress H.N.
