Jewellery worth 2.5 lakh, cash stolen

HYDERABAD: Gold ornaments worth Rs. 2.15 lakh and Rs. 35,000 were stolen from the bag of a passenger travelling in an A.P.S.R.T.C. city bus on Thursday. A retired teacher, Bhramarambha, 60, boarded a bus at Hayathnagar along with her husband Appala Raju. After getting down at Punjagutta, they noticed that the jewellery and cash was stolen.

Thieves took away Rs. 5 lakh from the table drawer of H.P. Gas agency at Bhagyanagar in Kukatpally after breaking open the shutters of its office on Wednesday night.
