Zabeel International in Kochi

KOCHI: Zabeel International, a UAE -based career training institute, has opened its centre in Kochi. The institute provides training in various disciplines such as management, IT, accountancy and finance. The courses are of duration ranging from three months to one year.

KOCHI: V. Muraleedharan Nair is the new Managing Director of Travancore Cochin Chemicals Limited, Udyogamandal. He has assumed office, according to a press release. He has held various positions including Managing Director of Travancore Titanium Products Limited.

KOCHI: The Milk Marketing Society awards of the Ernakulam Regional Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union Limited have been announced. The societies at Palakkuzha in Ernakulam, Padiyur in Thrissur, Pampadi East in Kottayam and Padamukham in Idukki have won the award for model society. The winners of Ksheeramitra awards for best farmers in the general category are K.V. Thomas of Kallukkad, P.R. Poulose of Kottanalloor, K.C. Mathew of Pampadi East and P.V. Markos of Nettithozhu. The winners of Ksheeramitra awards for farmers in the dairy segment are K.P. Ali, Monson Mathew, K.G. Ravindran and Betty Biju, according to a press release. —Special Correrspondent
