Ex-MLA’s wife arrested in cheating case

NEW DELHI: The absconding wife of Ranbir Singh Kharb, former MLA from Najafgarh who was recently arrested by the Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi police, surrendered before the police here on Saturday. Mr. Kharb was held for allegedly cheating people by promising handsome returns against investments in his company,
Anita Kharb appeared at the Economic Offences Wing office in the morning following which she was formally arrested. The police had obtained a non-bailable warrant against her.
The police said Anita was a director and authorised signatory of the company, Jyoti Fair Finance.
