DU urged to extend registration date

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: All-India Congress Committee member Naresh Kumar has appealed to Delhi University to extend the date of registration for students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

In a letter to Vice-Chancellor Deepak Pental, Dr. Kumar said: “Delhi University did not organise any camp for extending admission assistance for the benefit of SC/ST students, especially those who are coming from outside the city. As a result, a number of students who wanted to take admission in colleges have been left despaired.”
