Non-official to be appointed authority Chairman

HAMPI: A non-official, who has the knowledge of culture, tradition and history of the State, will be appointed Chairman of the Hampi World Heritage Area Management Authority. Minister for Tourism, G. Janardhan Reddy said that the process of identifying a suitable person for the post would be completed in 10 days. The authority was constituted by the S.M. Krishna Government. The authority comprises only officials of all departments concerned. The Deputy Commissioner of Bellary is its Chairman and the Deputy Commissioner Koppal is the Co-Chairman.
