Farewell

K. Narayanan’s tribute to his readers and The Hindu (June 29) which nourished him as an able editor was timely and encouraging. His long association with the newspaper under the guidance of worthy and capable editors helped him rise to the challenge as the first Readers’ Editor of The Hindu. He deserves praise for his unflagging courage and stamina.

K.R. Kohli,

New Delhi

Readers will definitely miss Mr. Narayanan. He was an invisible bridge between The Hindu and its readers.

I am sure a majority of the readers will agree that he did justice to his post. His parting message is poignant. We wish him a healthy retired life.

R. Sridharan,

Chennai
