Rajagopuram being built
HOSUR: A new rajagopuram for the Shri Arulmighu Marathambal Udanurai Chandrasudeswarar Temple was being built at a cost of Rs. 1.14 crore.
The rajagopuram’s height would be 111.6 feet with seven stages, K. Varadarajan, Managing Trustee, told ‘The Hindu’ here on Wednesday.
He added that a marriage hall belonging to the temple at the foothills is being renovated at a cost of Rs. 2 lakh.
Grievances meeting for women
DHARMAPURI: The women’s grievances day will be held at the Dharmapuri Revenue Divisional Office on July 3. Collector P. Amutha will preside over the meet.
Economically weaker women from Dharmapuri revenue division have been asked to participate and redress their grievances.
Women’s grievances day meeting is being convened every month on the first Friday, says a press release issued here said.
