dated July 2, 1959: World mountaineers meet

Col. Gyan Singh, Principal, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling, left Delhi on July 1 for Bombay en route to France, where he will attend an International Mountaineers’ Meet at Chamonix in the latter half of this month.

He has been invited by the French National Mountaineering Federation. While in Europe, Col. Gyan Singh will attend the Jubilee Mountaineering Week at Rosenlaui in Switzerland from July 12 to 17.
