MANGALORE: The Government has withdrawn a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district banning vehicular movement between B.C. Road Junction and Polali Cross on National Highway 48 from June 30 to July 28, a release from the Department of Information has said.

Deputy Commissioner V. Ponnuraj issued the notification on June 25.

It was withdrawn as IRCON International Ltd., the implementing agency, has not laid service road between the two stretches as promised.
