Tourist spots cleaned up

KOCHI: Plan@Earth, a non-governmental organisation, organised a cleaning drive at Ezhattumugam and Tumboormuzhi near Chalakudi river. A press release issued by Mujeeb Muhammed, president of the organisation, said that 30 volunteers cleaned up the tourist spots. Plastic bottles and other garbage was removed from these areas.

More than 30 kgs of waste was removed from these spots. The release said that the organisation has plans to clean up Wagamon and other holiday spots.
