Music programme enthrals children

Staff Reporter

Madhav, a visually challenged singer, performing at Sri Prakash Synergy School at Peddapuram in East Godavari district.

Kakinada: ‘ETV Black – Colours of Music’ competition winner Madhav enchanted children of Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuram, with his melodious singing.

The programme was organised to inspire children to reach pinnacles of success in spite of weaknesses they might be suffering from, like what Madhav did on the small screen despite being visually impaired.

During his interaction with the children, Madhav said self-confidence and hard work were the secrets of his success and that he was inspired by great singers India had produced over time. Particularly, he was impressed with Mangalampalli Balamurali Krishna, Yesu Das and S.P. Balasubramanyam, who brought global acclaim for Indian music.

School director Ch. Vijaya Prakash and proctor Suchita Singh and the children congratulated Madhav on his achievements.
