ACB unearths Rs. 3 cr. assets
HYDERABAD: A BMW car was among the assets unearthed from S. Amurthaiah, Managing Director, A. P. Physically Handicapped Cooperative Corporation, during searches conducted by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) here.
The searches resulted in unearthing of assets worth over Rs.3.16 crore.
They included two houses, one each at Habsiguda and Nacharam, a flat at Seri Lingampally, 25 acres land in Shahbad and 18 plots. The immovable properties were worth Rs.1.36 crore. Their market value was Rs.6 crore.
Six cars
The movable assets included six cars, including the BMW, worth Rs. 83.50 lakh, Rs.1.15 lakh in cash, house fittings and furniture worth Rs.25 lakh, bank balances of Rs. 38.36 lakh in ING Vysya Bank and Rs.30.41 lakh in ICICI Bank, Habsiguda.
The movable assets were valued at Rs.1.8 crore.
