KOCHI: The creative talents behind ‘CID Moosa 007’, the animated version of the Malayalam hit movie, are back. And they are now trying their luck in shaping a full-length animated Malayalam movie titled, ‘Once Upon A Time’. Binu Sasidharan, director of the project, said that the 3D animated model of actor Salim Kumar (who plays the role of a minister) will be a major highlight of the film. “The movie conveys the universal message of karma that every person in this world has to fulfil before he completes a lifecycle. ‘Once Upon A Time’ depicts a strange happening in the life of Rahul, an adventurous boy, who learns about a magical kingdom from a book gifted by a sage,” Mr. Sasidharan said. Produced by FX3 Productions, the movie has actors Salim Kumar, Mala Aravindan, Machan Varghese, and Narayanankutty lending their voices for various characters. Salim Kumar will bring to life the character of the minister while Mala Aravindan will give voice for the role of the sage in the movie. ‘Once Upon A Time’ has five songs composed by noted music director, Bijibal of ‘Arabikatha’ fame. He will also be doing the background score. Sujatha, popular singer, has rendered the song ‘Kalikootukaran’. Anil Perumbalam has written the screenplay and dialogues. The film is slated for release in August.
