Injustice alleged in teacher transfers

HYDERABAD: The DSC-2006 Teachers’ Union has alleged injustice to its members in the transfer of teachers being undertaken by the School Education Department. In a statement here on Saturday, its leaders said that teachers appointed in 2006 should be transferred first, as per seniority. In a representation to School Education Director Poonam Malakondaiah they requested her to cancel the already effected transfers and repeat the exercise according to guidelines. — Special Correspondent
