Family of four commits suicide
Karwar: Four members of a family committed suicide at Mathadahiltu village in Bhatkal. Although the incident came to light on Friday it is suspected that the family members might have committed suicide on Thursday night. Irayya Nagappa Moger (55) and his daughters Lakshmi (25), Jaya (23) and Jyoti (21) committed suicide. Poverty could be the reason for the suicide. Irayya was doing fishing business.
His eldest daughter Lakshmi was a daily wage worker and Jaya was a tailor. Jyothi was working as a housemaid in Bangalore. Their mother died about 10 years ago.
