Men throw acid on girl’s face

Buxar (Bihar): Two unidentified motorcycle-borne youths on Sunday threw acid on the face of a 22-year-old girl in Bihar’s Buxar district, police said.

Puja was going to a market along with her mother in Sohanpatti area when two young men poured acid on her face and fled away.

With severe burns on her face, the victim was soon rushed to a hospital at Varanasi in the neighbouring Uttar Pradesh for better treatment after her condition deteriorated in a local hospital, sources said. --PTI
