Medical journal launched

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dinesh Trivedi has launched “Health Positive”, a monthly journal aimed at disseminating knowledge on medical science and technology among physicians.

The journal, published by Roop Publishers and edited by Dr. Usha Shrivastava, is the outcome of a combined initiative of some of the top names of the medical profession in the country.

Speaking after releasing the journal over the weekend, Mr. Trivedi said a journal dealing with the latest advances in theory and practice of clinical medicine and larger issues of public health policy makes “Health Positive” a unique concept in tune with the current demands of health profession. He also observed that all tiers of health care -- primary, secondary and tertiary -- are important and any bias would result in lopsidedness in the health care system.
