Vishnu promoted

VISAKHAPATNAM: VUDA Vice-Chairman V.N. Vishnu has been promoted to the rank of Secretary to Government. The Government has issued a GO on Tuesday to this effect, promoting 17 IAS officers of 1993 batch to the Super-time scale, among whom Mr. Vishnu and five others have been equated in status and responsibilities to the cadre of ‘Secretary to the Government.’

Before assuming office at VUDA, Mr. Vishnu was the Joint Secretary in the Energy Department of the State Government. Prior to that, he was Collector, Srikakulam district.
