Houses of three police personnel searched

CHENNAI: Houses of three police personnel allegedly involved in a corruption case were searched by Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption officials on Thursday.
According to police sources, the DVAC teams conducted simultaneous searches at the houses of Inspector Sundareswara Pandian, Sub-Inspector Siva Subramanian and constable Ramanujam, who were part of a team that investigated the ‘Gold Quest’ case.
Following allegations that they had received money from one of the accused, they were placed under suspension.
Based on a report of Additional Director-General of Police (CBCID) Archana Ramasundaram, Director-General of Police K.P. Jainhad asked the DVAC to investigate.
