VIJAYAWADA: Four persons died under mysterious circumstances on Thursday. The Kothapet police found the body of 15-year-old Myna Srilakshmi at her uncle’s house in Kamsalipet. On Thursday morning, relatives found her body lying on the bed. The body of 35-year-old Koduru Shanthi was found hanging from the ceiling fan of the house of one Paniki Srinu, her friend, at Prizerpet. Shanti, mother of two children, left her husband Janardhan and was staying in the house of Srinu. On Thursday morning, Srinu found Shanthi’s body hanging. An engineering student died in his hostel room at Patamata. His body was found hanging from the ceiling fan. The victim was identified as Pachi Siva Prasad, 19, a B.Tech. second year student of Usharama Engineering College at Telaprolu. A 20-year-old woman, Timmasetti Rajani, wife of Ravi Kumar, was charred to death at Ramakrishnapuram. The police said Rajani requested her husband to give up liquor. On Thursday morning, she doused herself with kerosene and set herself ablaze. Neighbours rushed her to hospital. She told the police that her husband was innocent.
