Freak accident

K. Adaikkan(19) of Madhukaranpatti was run over by a tractor at Ilandhakulam near Valanadu on Thursday. Police sources said Adaikkan was travelling in the tractor when its driver L. Backiaraj turned the vehicle towards right to give way for another vehicle coming in the opposite direction. In the melee, Adaikkan slipped and came under the wheels of the tractor. Valanadu police are investigating.
