Young woman sets herself afire

NEW DELHI: A young woman allegedly set herself afire in her house at Welcome in the Capital’s trans-Yamuna area on Friday. She has been admitted to JPN Hospital. The incident took place around 2 p.m. when the woman poured kerosene and set herself ablaze. She was rushed to hospital with 40 per cent burns. Enquiries revealed that she had been living with another woman for the past 18 months.

An inquiry under the area Sub-Divisional Magistrate has been initiated.
