DHS posts win

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Directorate of Health Services (DHS)came back from behind to defeat Golden Eagles 3-1 in the Thiruvananthapuram District ‘B’ division football league at the Medical College ground on Saturday.

Raju put Golden Eagles ahead against the run of play. However, Vinu Jose equalised for DHS from a free-kick. Shafeek then struck a brace to put the match beyond the reach of Golden Eagles. This is second straight win for DHS while it was the first defeat for Golden Eagles in the league.
