CHENNAI: A. Naresh’s five for 12 enabled Chinmaya Vidyalaya script a 10-wicket win over SBOA MHSS in the SMCA Independence Cup under-14 schools cricket tournament held here.

The scores: St. John’s MHSS 93 in 30 overs (R. Prithivi four for 14) lost to St Michael’s MHSS 94 for no loss in 11 overs (Mukunth 46 not out, Anton Andrewe 38 not out.).

SBOA MHSS 62 in 23 overs (A. Naresh five for 12) lost to Chinmaya Vidyalaya 63 for no loss in 12.2 overs (Madhusudan 29 not out, Anjan 27 not out). — Principal Correspondent
