ERODE: District administration has warned LPG distributors about not passing on the Government’s Rs. 30 subsidy to single cylinder customers. An administration release says it has come to its notice that a few distributors are not passing on the subsidy to customers and that if they are found doing so, it would take strict action. Since July 2008 the State Government has been providing Rs. 30 as subsidy for customers with only one cylinder connection. The release asks customers to check if distributors are passing on the subsidy and in case of failure, asks them to report to the nearest taluk supply office or the district supply office at the collectorate.
