Man handed over to police

KRISHNAGIRI: A man who was caught by public for snatching chain from a woman was handed over to the police here on Sunday.

According to the police, Prakasam and his wife Kaviarasi were waiting at the Kaveripattinam bus stand when Ramu alais Ramudevan of Sandapalayam snatched Kaviarasi’s necklace and fled. Those at the bus stand caught him. He was beaten up before handed over to the police. He was later arrested.
