H1N1: two more test positive
BANGALORE: After a 43-year-old mother and her nine-year-old daughter tested positive for H1N1 virus on Sunday, the number of confirmed cases of the flu in the city has gone up to 34. State Joint Director (Commun icable Diseases) Chellavaraju said the mother and daughter voluntarily reported for screening at the Lakeside Hospital. They returned from New York on July 6. Their samples were sent to the National Institute of Virology in Pune. Officials said the two arrived by the same flight on which a four-year-old girl, who tested positive for H1N1 on July 10, was flying.
