NEW DELHI: The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham) in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry will lead a 46-member delegation to Japan to attract investments in special economic zones (SEZs).
Led by Assocham President Sajjan Jindal, the delegation will leave for Japan on July 26 and during the week long trip it will hold business interactions with Japanese investors at Tokyo, Osaka and Yakohoma to impress upon them the importance of India’s SEZs as a preferred destination for Japanese investments.
The delegation intends to seek Japanese investment in sectors like power equipment, steel value addition and R&D.
