Glasgow: S.S.P. Chowrasia could not arrest the slide in form and signed off with his worst card of the week — a five-over 76 — to finish a lowly 77th in the Barclays Scottish Open golf tournament here. After a poor third round of 75 dashed his hopes for a decent finish in the European Tour event, Chowrasia seemed to have lost the plot as the diminutive Kolkata pro stuttered to 76 to total nine-over 293 and pocket Euro 5196. But for the birdies on the seventh and eighth holes, Chowrasia’s was a poor round blighted by three back nine bogeys besides two double bogeys. At the top, 24-year-old Martin Kaymer (269) of Germany completed consecutive wins on The European Tour, following last week’s Open de France triumph with the back-to-back title here. — PTI
