Naidu wants EC to clear doubts on EVMs

HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday wanted the Election Commission to remove doubts among people over functioning of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).
Addressing a meeting where Praja Rajyam candidate from Malkajgiri, Kanaka Reddy and his supporters joined TDP, Mr. Naidu said if the Election Commission was not able to prove that the EVMs were tamper-proof, then these should not be used in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections.
He said more and more leaders and workers from other parties were joining TDP, as there was realisation that it was the only party which could take on the Congress.
