Jehanabad: A postmaster was arrested and FIRs were lodged against Makhdumpur block panchayat samiti head and an employment supervisor in connection with siphoning of NREGA funds in Bihar’s Jehanabad district, police sources said. The sources said Naresh Kumar Verma, postmaster of Saren post office were arrested and FIRs were lodged against Mohan Prajapati, block head and Bhushan Kumar, employment supervisor, for misappropriation of NREGA funds meant for the workers.
