RAMANATHAPURAM: Collector T.N. Hariharan on Monday directed officials of various departments to give priority for taking proper action on grievance day petitions. Presiding over the weekly grievance day meeting held here, he said that petitions seeking old age pension and inclusion of families in Below Poverty Line category should be disposed immediately. The petitions forwarded from the Chief Minister’s special cell should be disposed within 15 days and should be informed about the action taken by the officials. Mr. Hariharan received 225 petitions, most of them for old age pensions, crop loan and others.
