>>The fourth paragraph of a report, “Improper handling of chemicals cited,” (July 9, 2009, page 3) said that chemicals such as potassium used in industrial production had to be preserved and handled with care till the end product was packed and despatched.” A reader points out that potassium is not a chemical but a highly reactive metal (element).

>>The photograph of Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister A. Tamilarasi appeared in the promos (July 8, 2009, page 2) alongside “Tourist arrivals record rise.” It should have appeared along with “Welfare board for dhobis to be set up.”
