Held for murder of wife

Special Correspondent

TAMBARAM: A 52-year-old man has been arrested by Pallikaranai police on charges of murdering his wife at their house in Sithalapakkam on Sunday evening.

Police said Tirusangu and his wife Latha (31) had two children. About a week ago, Tirusangu left home in a fit of rage upset over his wife’s behaviour and was staying in a lodge. On Sunday evening, his children called him on his cell phone and told him that their mother was not serving food to them properly. Tirusangu rushed home and stabbed his wife to death.
