CHENNAI: Sourav Kothari won his third straight match on Monday, beating Dharmendra Lilly 70-33, 68-36, 79-46, to be on the brink of qualifying for the knockout stage of the Madras Gymkhana Club all-India invitation snooker tournament. After losing the first frame, Lilly played a closed game in the second, slowing down the pace of play to deny Sourav any momentum. However, fouls at crucial junctures let Sourav break free and he wrapped up the second frame.
