Ferguson banking on Rooney

KUALA LUMPUR: Sir Alex Ferguson expects Wayne Rooney to shoulder much of the responsibility for Manchester United this year following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez. “The expectation on Rooney is always high. It is a natural situation for him given the standards he has set for himself,” Ferguson said. — AP
