‘BJP infighting affecting works’
NEW DELHI: Leader of Opposition in Municipal Corporation of Delhi Jai Kishan Sharma on Friday alleged that Bharatiya Janata Party’s “infighting was seriously harming works” relating to the upcoming Commonwealth Games and overall development of the city.
Mr. Sharma has also written a letter to Delhi’s Lieutenant-Governor.
“The works, projects and schemes in MCD have come to a standstill. The election process for the post of chairpersons of special and ad hoc committees was postponed on Thursday for a week as senior state-level BJP leaders present at the meeting remained indecisive due to infighting and bitter differences,” Mr. Sharma said.
