LBA meeting of Sainik School held

VIZIANAGARAM: The 112th Local Board of Administration meeting that was presided by Vice-Admiral Nirmal Verma, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, as chairman of the board inaugurated a well equipped new library complex on the school premises on Saturday evening.

According to a press release of the school, N. Janardhana Reddy, MP, donated Rs. 12 lakhs for the library complex. Later, the board passed the Rs.2-crore budget for the year 2009-10.

Capt (IN) P. K. Singh, Principal of the school and member-secretary of the board, appraised the chairman and other board members of the school of the institution’s progress.

Earlier, the principal received the Vice-Admiral at the school helipad. Senior Division NCC cadets of the school presented guard of honour. B. Jhansi Lakshmi, MP, Capt (IN) Ghanshyam Oojha, and others attended the meeting.
